General
Is SpinGoal's spinning wheel truly random?
Yes. SpinGoal uses the browser's native Math.random() function combined with a physics-based spin simulation. The landing position is determined by a randomly seeded angular velocity at spin launch — no outcome is predetermined or stored. You can verify this by opening the network tab in your browser's DevTools: no server calls are made during a standard spin.
Is SpinGoal free?
Yes, SpinGoal is completely free to use with no account required. Open the site, add your entries, and spin. A Pro plan is available that unlocks weighted entries, unlimited spin history, custom color themes, priority Multiplayer rooms, and removal of the daily spin limit for high-volume users.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can use all core features immediately as a guest with no registration required. Your entries and settings are saved locally in your browser between sessions. Upgrading to Pro lets you restore your subscription and sync your saved wheels across devices.
What devices and browsers does SpinGoal support?
SpinGoal works on any modern browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Opera — on desktop, tablet, and mobile. For the best experience, use Chrome or Edge on desktop. Official mobile apps:
App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
Using the Wheel
How do I add names or items to the wheel?
Type or paste your entries into the Entries text area on the left panel — one item per line. The wheel segments update in real time as you type. You can also import a plain-text or CSV file by clicking the Import button above the entries box. There is no maximum entry limit on Pro; free users can add up to 100 entries.
What are weighted entries and how do I use them?
Weighted entries let you increase the probability of specific items being selected. Type a colon followed by a number after any entry — for example Subscriber : 3 gives that entry 3× the chance of a standard entry. The wheel segment size visually reflects each entry's weight. This is a Pro-only feature.
What is Charged Spin?
Charged Spin is a feature that increases the wheel's spin force based on how long you hold the Spin button. A short tap gives a gentle spin; holding for 3 seconds gives a fast, dramatic spin. This adds suspense and viewer engagement, especially during live streams.
Can I remove winners automatically?
Yes. Toggle the "Auto-Remove" switch in the top controls to automatically remove the winning entry after each spin, so it cannot be selected again. Turn this off during live streams if you want viewers to see the winner's name stay on the wheel for longer. You can also manually click "Remove Winner" on the result popup.
How do I save my wheel entries for later?
Your current entries are automatically saved to your browser's LocalStorage and restored on your next visit. To save multiple named wheels, use the "Saved Wheels" panel (available on Pro). You can also manually export your entries as a text file using the Export button in the entries panel.
Multiplayer
How does Multiplayer mode work?
Multiplayer lets multiple people join the same virtual wheel room using a shared 6-digit room code. When anyone in the room clicks Spin, all participants see the identical spin animation happen on their screen simultaneously — with the same result. This is ideal for remote teams, classrooms, and live-stream events where you want full transparency.
How many people can join a Multiplayer room?
Free rooms support up to 5 simultaneous participants. Pro rooms support up to 50 participants. Each participant sees the same spin outcome in real time over a secure WebSocket connection.
Is Multiplayer data stored?
No. Multiplayer room data (entries and spin events) are held temporarily in memory for the duration of the session and automatically deleted when the room is empty or after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not log or store room contents on our servers.
Privacy & Data
Does SpinGoal store my wheel entries?
In guest mode, all wheel data (entries, spin history, settings) is stored exclusively in your browser's LocalStorage — a private storage area on your own device. Nothing is transmitted to our servers. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for spingoal.live.
Does SpinGoal use cookies or tracking?
SpinGoal uses strictly necessary LocalStorage keys to save your settings and entries (these are not cookies and do not require consent). We also use optional Google Analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand aggregate site usage, and Google AdSense cookies to display relevant ads. You can review and manage these in our
Cookie Policy.
How do I delete my data and email?
Email
info@nawify.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and the email address used for your purchase. We will delete all associated server-side subscription and user records within 30 days. Local browser data can be cleared manually through your browser's settings.
